Job Summary: We seek an experienced Executive Director with a strong background in import/export and government liaisoning to lead our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth, building strategic partnerships, and navigating complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
  
• Develop and implement IREF's strategic plan in alignment with the organization's mission and vision.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
• Represent IREF effectively to external stakeholders, including government agencies, funders, and the wider community.

• Operational Management:
  Oversee the day-to-day operations of IREF, ensuring efficient and effective program delivery.
• Manage IREF's human resources, including recruitment, performance management, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Financial Management:
  Develop and manage IREF's budget, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
• Oversee fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and event planning.
• Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to the Board of Directors.

• External Relations:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, funders, and community partners.
• Represent IREF at conferences, meetings, and other events.
• Advocate for IREF's mission and priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Proven track record of success in strategic planning, operational management, and financial management.
• Strong fundraising and external relations skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
