Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Development:
• Design and create new food products or improve existing recipes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product formulations meet company standards for taste, texture, nutritional content, and shelf life.

• Implement and monitor food safety standards in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, HACCP).
• Conduct tests on food products to ensure they are safe for consumption and meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Develop and enforce quality assurance protocols for production processes.

Ingredient Research and Testing:

• Research and evaluate new ingredients and food technologies.
• Test the functionality and stability of ingredients in various formulations.

Process Optimization:

• Design and optimize production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the sustainability of production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in food production processes.

Sensory Evaluation:

• Conduct sensory analysis (taste, texture, aroma) of food products to ensure the desired quality.
• Collaborate with marketing and consumer research teams to refine product offerings based on consumer preferences.

Packaging and Labeling:

• Ensure food products are properly packaged to maintain quality and extend shelf life.
• Oversee the creation of labels, ensuring they are in compliance with legal requirements and include all necessary information (e.g., nutritional facts, allergens).
