Job Title : Senior Manager HR
Age Group : 35-37 Max

Reports To : HR Director Steel- India
1. Purpose:
- This position is primarily responsible for implementation and monitoring of HR deliverables in the area of HR Systems /Analytics, Compensation & Benefits, PMS administration. Planning and implementation of strategic C&B policies/interventions in line with business needs is an integral part of the job.
- This position will also be responsible for the successful execution of HR agenda to drive an efficient and optimal employee experience.
This position will support Business & HRBPs for:
- 400+ employees in India. There are 4 manufacturing Plants in India (3 in Vizag and 1 in Kolkata). There are around 15 Steel Plant sites wherein we have significant presence of our business & employees.

3. Key Result Areas:
1. C&B : Propose & review implementations in the benefits & payroll to remain competitive. Support Budget Exercise for the organization. Managing the Insurance policies and Mediclaim for all employees. Lead & support roll out of new benefits, HR projects with necessary HR communications.
2. HR Ops & Analytics: Prepare HR analytics and dashboard / Reports Attrition, HC, Costs, budgets, manpower etc. Review of existing HR policies and drafting of new policies for the organization. Oversee maintenance of all internal HR systems and HR databases and SuccessFactors. Participation in internal and external audit processes from time to time. Support Global HRBPs to help in any Regional data requirements for India. Drive along with HRBPs local employee surveys and supporting the global employee surveys.
3. PMS: Playing a significant role in driving the PMS cycle for the organization along with GMs and HRBPs for India. Support on salary reviews based on market and sector-specific benchmarking to ensure competitiveness. Plan year end and off-cycle merit plans, AIP communications and benefits according to company requirement & agreed terms & policies.
4. Main Interactions Internal:

- HR Director FC & AR South Asia, Daily Discuss & strategize on key areas.
- Directors/ Sr. Management team members As and when required Discuss on needs, developmental activities.
- HR team (both HRBPs & COE members) Daily Regular interactions on several HR issues both transactional and developmental.
- Cross functional Operating Managers As and when required Interactions on several HR issues both transactional and developmental.
- All employees As and when required To address HR issues w.r.t this verical.
5. Main Interactions External:
Contact Frequency Purpose:
- Statutory bodies and other Govt. agencies As and when required Discussing statutory matters, Liaising, Relationship building.
- Insurance/Mediclaim co.s, As and when required To maintain business relationships and ensure smooth HR processes.
6. Qualifications:
- Science or Commerce Graduate with MBA / Post Graduate Degree in HR from reputed institute. Must have exposure at HR operations & C&B at mid-size organisation preferably in MNC setting / manufacturing organisations.
7. Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant industrial experience in HR function, out of which around 2-3 years should be at a fairly mid-level of HR position in a mid-size / large organization. Experience in an industrial setting / Plant HR in an international environment (MNC) / Manufacturing Organisation will be preferred.
8. Knowledge:
- The position requires knowledge and understanding of most of the core HR processes, like Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, India Payroll process, Budgets & manpower Management, HR operations initiatives, both at strategic as well as operational level. The position also requires adequate exposure to some of the Industrys best HR practices. Working knowledge in SAP / SuccessFactors will be preferred. Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

- We prefer candidates based out of Kolkata.
- Should have a minimum experience of 4 years.
- PG is preferred but we would like to see some UGs too with expertise in the role.
- Candidates with minimum NP or serving notice period are preferred.
