Job Description
- Review and approve component inspection reports (CIR) related to general and major components of Onshore & Offshore platforms
- Active involvement in providing quality technical solutions through analysis of various WTGs Platform
- Proactive engagement in upgrading the CIR tool in terms of technical content, user interface, responsiveness and quality of content
- Resolve critical Cases through collaboration with other functions
- Conduct weekly/monthly calls with stakeholders to align on CIR progress
- Support stakeholders in delivering technical solution on time
- Create databases as needed to support digitization, data analysis, and minimize backlogs
- Create and updating new CIM cases based on reporting CIRs
- Provide technical solutions to Service
- Collaborate with regional teams on reviewing and organizing action plans for timely CIR delivery
- Active engagement in Quality Improvement Project (QIP) & Delivery Improvement Project (DIP)
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5+yrs of experience at site providing technical & troubleshooting support along with clear understanding of service operations
- Work experience with platform above 3.5 MW is added advantage
- Hands on experience with major and general component repair & replacement
- Multiband (GE/ Gamesa / Suzlon / Senvion etc.) & offshore experience is added advantage
- Knowledge of Quality tools is must
- Knowledge of Power BI / Data analysis tool/ Jira is added advantage
- Capable of working in international team in flexible work hours

- Process Understanding
- Understand customers needs, and enhance customer satisfaction
- Know the full value chain and key processes of nacelle manufacturing
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Profound with organizational behavior
- Efficient computer skills
- Should be a highly motivated attitude and be able to work with little supervision
- Willing to travel to Sites and abroad for assignments
- Efficient technical skills with emphasis on diagnostics, troubleshooting, technical investigation and root cause analysis
- Able to balance responsibilities and prioritize daily work
- Growth mindset with ability to think out of box

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology.
- Salary - Good
The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14 hours straight in a day. In my team my manager and my mentor do not treating the colleagues like a MNC Company employees. They always suspecting on our tasks. The overall culture is good in vestas but if in terms of behaviour of manager wise is not good.
