Vertoz - Software Engineer - Java/Golang (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on developing high-performance and scalable applications using Core Java, GoLang, Redis, Kafka, and MySQL.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling real-time data processing, building efficient caching solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development : Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Core Java and GoLang.

Data Processing :

- Implement real-time data streaming and event-driven systems using Kafka.

- Handle large-scale data integration and processing pipelines efficiently.

Database Management :

- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using MySQL.

- Work with Redis to implement efficient caching and data storage solutions.

Performance Optimization : Identify bottlenecks in the system and optimize code for better performance and scalability.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality standards.

Troubleshooting and Debugging :

- Debug and resolve complex issues in production and pre-production environments.

- Enhance software systems to improve functionality and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Core Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Core Java and GoLang programming languages.

- Strong hands-on experience with Redis for caching or message brokering.

- Expertise in Kafka for real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.

- Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and management.

- Experience with RESTful API design and integration.

Additional Skills :

- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.

- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. , AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
