Associate - New Fund Launch & Company Growth Strategy & Research - Venture Capital Funding (4-6 yrs)

Position: Associate - New Fund Launch & Company Growth Strategy & Research (Leading Venture Capital Funding Company)

Role:

- The associate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Company's strategic growth by working closely with the top management across research, strategy execution, and fund development initiatives.

- The associate will play a crucial role in scaling up the Company as it launches new funds and create the Company into a market leader in the PE/

VC industry:

- Work closely with the top management team to set the vision and strategy for the Company

- Assist in executing the short-term and long-term strategy

- Conducting background research on thematic sectors including investors landscape mapping and reaching out to investors for new fund raising of thematic funds

- Preparation, updation, review and finalization of fund documents related to thematic funds for the Company

- Support during due diligence evaluations in relation to thematic funds

- Scope the PE/ VC landscape, and identify potential collaboration opportunities for the Company

- Prepare regular sector research to keep apprised of updated trends and market news/information

- Support in procurement/ appointment of external consultants/ advisors/ service providers for carrying out market study, legal and tax advisory and any other related work

Requirements:

- MBA/ Chartered Accountant/ CFA (US)

- 4-6 years' experience with at least 2 years in a strategy consulting role with a reputed organization

- Should have knowledge and understanding of the financial markets

- Proven interest in solving complex issues/ situations

- Ability to create strong relationships with stakeholders; preferred established network in the financial/PE landscape.

- Ability to work with minimum supervision, and provide high quality inputs to senior management
