The success of the role of the Platforms Team Leader is built on the Trust relationship between them, their team, and the clients. The result of this relationship is a customer with high satisfaction scores and engaged Version 1 staff, which should then translate into excellent financial performance. Version 1 is looking for a Platforms (Azure AWS) Delivery Manager with excellent people management skills to join its Global Service Reliability Group. A highly driven individual is required as they will be responsible for a high-performing technical team, so technical acumen is a distinct advantage. You must demonstrate an ability to deliver quality outcomes to consistently deliver high satisfaction ratings.
Roles Responsibilities
Work with the Head of Service Delivery Management / Portfolio Director(s) / Account Manager (s) / Practice Head as appropriate to agree on a strategy for assigned accounts.
Input to service design and support for service implementation
Internal service reporting
Maintain standards for ISO20000 compliance best practices across the team.
Manage customer escalations, issues, problems, and requirements.
Identify and progress the Continual Service Improvement initiative
Manage business risk and knowledge to ensure business continuity.
Achieve targets and improvement initiatives for customer satisfaction.
Explore and drive opportunities within existing customers for new/additional work.
Work with sales to develop new opportunities both with new and existing customers.
Conduct regular Service Reviews with Customers

Essential Skills - Level of experience 7-10years
Technical Skills
Cloud Architecture: Deep understanding of both Azure and AWS architectures, including services, deployment models, and best practices.
Security and Compliance: Knowledge of cloud security principles, compliance standards, and how to implement them in both Azure and AWS environments.
Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, AWS Lambda) to streamline operations and deployments.
DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Monitoring and Performance Management: Skills in monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch) to ensure optimal performance and availability of services.
Strong ITIL skills in relation to Service Design, Operations and Transition

Strategic Planning: Capability to align cloud strategies with business goals, ensuring that cloud initiatives support overall organizational objectives.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
