Security Lead Platforms

Section 1 - JOB DESCRIPTION

Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and were looking for a Security Lead Platforms to support this transformative journey. Reporting directly to the Director Platforms, you will play a crucial role in ensuring and enhancing our technical infrastructure and platform security. As part of the Platforms team, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and fixing risks, vulnerabilities, and threats within our platform unit in close collaboration with our Information Security unit. In addition, you will oversee the security of the technical infrastructure and platform of Barry Callebaut and ensure that necessary implementations, patches, and updates are installed when needed.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security strategies for our IT platforms
• Execute the security measures to ensure the security for our technical infrastructure and platform
• Provide day-to-day operational support responding to related inquiries
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot risks, vulnerabilities, and threats within our platform unit
• Act as the primary point of contact for all major security activities within our platform, providing clear and concise communication to stakeholders and ensuring that required security management processes are followed
• Support incident review meetings, including root cause investigations to enhance platform security based on findings
• Develop and maintain security management documentation, including action plans
• Collaborate closely with our Information Security unit on security related policies and procedures
• Provide regular updates to senior management on security status and initiatives
• Collaborate with IT operations, support teams, and business units to ensure effective security threat response and process enhancements
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and optimize resources to ensure highest security standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions

EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in IT/technology, computer science, network technology, infrastructure security or a comparable field
• Microsoft AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, CompTIA+ Security, or other relevant security-related certifications are highly appreciated
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a security analyst/ engineer/ lead or similar
• Deep knowledge of security operations, security incident handling, technical change management, disaster recovery etc.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure management, physical and virtual servers, as well as cloud management related to security activities
• Independent and self-driven personality, taking responsibility and owning tasks
• Possesses good problem-solving skills and structured way of working
• Openness to try and learn new technologies and skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate problems to non-technical audience
• Exhibits a passion for digital technology and innovation, constantly seeking new and creative solutions to enhance processes, decision-making and user experiences
• Collaborates well across diverse and globally distributed teams, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across different levels and functions of the organization
• Is a true team player, supporting their colleagues by sharing knowledge and experience and commits the teams joint success
• Possesses good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Capable of effective communication, conveying complex problems in a clear and persuasive manner to internal and external stakeholders
