Versa Networks - Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation/Manual Testing (5-8 yrs)

Summary :

Qualified candidates will be responsible for automation and manual testing of the NMS orchestrator platform for Versa Networks SASE solution. The candidate will also work with development teams to integrate with external systems to close the loop on fully automated dev-to-production release cycle goals.

Education Qualification : The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team (in start-up environment).

- Good communication skills to work with cross-functional groups.

- Strong skills in large-scale software design and development.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Roles And Responsibilities :

- Responsible for writing test plan for new features and regression feature.

- Responsible for QA cycle execution of feature.

- Responsible for Automation of feature assigned and review automation code.

- Responsible for Scale and Performance Testing.

- Need to asses requirements received from PLM.

Essential Skills :

- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

- Strong understanding and debugging skill of NMS/EMS, Netconf/SNMP.

- Expertise with Python.

- Expertise with REST APIs.

- Understanding of full Virtual Machine lifecycle management from provisioning to decommissioning.

Desired Skils :

- Experience with KVM, Openstack and VMware.

- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP will be plus.

- Experience with Container technologies will be plus.

- Experience with Selenium will be plus.

- Experience in Linux environment.
