What you will do :
Our Data Analytics Engineering team develops advanced analytics and solutions, including a cutting-edge vector store and Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities, all operating within Teradata's massively parallel, linearly scalable, enterprise-class data warehouse.
These innovations help organizations extract valuable insights from vast datasets.
As a team member, you will collaborate with engineers developing the Teradata Analytics Platform's analytic functions (e., Machine Learning, Statistical, Text), vector store, and GenAI features.
You will gather test requirements, create and execute test plans, and perform both manual and automated testing to ensure the highest quality of these distributed, highly parallel functions designed to process massive datasets with linear scalability and high performance.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform functional testing of complex analytic functions, including designing test scenarios, creating test plans, and implementing, automating, and executing test cases.
- Test the analytic functions, vector store, and GenAI features for scalability and performance.
- Ensure the accuracy of analytic functions by writing scripts in SQL, Python, and R.
- Identify and propose improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with stakeholders at all levels.

You will report directly to the Manager of the analytics team.
What makes you a qualified candidate :
- MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- 5+ experience in quality testing
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in working within Linux environments.
- Passion for maintaining high-quality standards and identifying tests that break code.
- Ability to identify and clearly document software defects with complete information for developers to reproduce and debug issues.
- Experience in building and running test automation in a CI/CD pipeline.
- Strong ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members and across functional groups.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
What you will bring :
- Prior experience with the Teradata database.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and experience working in scrum teams.
- Experience with test frameworks for automation
