Tendering Manager

Job Overview:

At Verma Industries we are looking for highly motivated **TENDER SALES EXECUTIVE** to join our team and coordinate our documentation, proposal writing and communication with suppliers and stakeholders. You should be able to use your effective solutions to process bids and generate reports. You will be responsible for administering and formulating strategies to ensure successful outcomes in tenders and submissions. Their responsibilities include:

• Identifying and evaluating opportunities: Finding and assessing tender opportunities from various sources, such as public notices, online platforms, and client requests
• Interpreting requirements: Understanding the requirements of a tender and coordinating with internal departments to gather the necessary information
• Meeting deadlines: Ensuring that all tenders are submitted on time and following up on the status of submissions
• Preparing and compiling documents: Preparing and compiling documents for tendering, bid submission, and pre-qualifications
• Preparing technical bids: Assisting seniors in preparing technical financial bids
• Preparing documents for e-tendering: Preparing documents for e-tendering on portals
• Responding to client inquiries: Receiving and addressing inquiries from clients about tenders
• Negotiating agreements: Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements required for business operations
• Reviewing proposals: Studying and reviewing proposals and assessing cost efficiency and other risks
• Developing presentations: Creating presentations for tender submission and ensuring compliance with tender guidelines

Requirements and Skills

• Proven experience of 2-6 years in a tender-oriented environment, like bid writing, procurement, project management or project coordination.
• Familiar with GEM portal.
• Excellent writing skills, as well as good knowledge of grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, effectively coordinate tasks, and contribute to making difficult decisions.
• Familiarity with project management and the associated software will be a plus.
