Senior Engineer - QA Test Automation

What youll be doing...

Verizon is looking for a dynamic and talented individual for the Private Network. One of the top goals is to have a scalable and reliable workload and infrastructure management and deployment along with self recovery of infrastructure failures.

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and best practices.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms and environments
• Implementing non-functional requirements - performance, scalability, reliability, extensibility etc.
• Collaborating with onshore SMEs, management, business, local management on the projects and programs.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Analyzing architecture, relationships between systems and system flows.
• Supporting customers with major platform issues and coordinating triage efforts to solve them.
• Working closely with the business team, and other internal IT teams to deliver projects on time.
• Evaluating and recommending new technologies and updating versions of existing ones.
• Engaging in engineering discussions, contributing to the conversation, providing your own opinions, asking thoughtful questions for clarification, and enriching the environment.

What were looking for...

You are self-driven with experience and responsible for ensuring software quality and improving testing processes.Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools and understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with various programming languages and databases is essential to evaluate applications and prepare test suites . Up-to-date understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies

Youll need to have:

• Bachelors degree or one or more years of work experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in implementing testing scripts in Python.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in AWS and other Cloud technologies.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and projects.
• Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• ISTQB Certification.
• Experience in Selenium robot framework.
