Job description

1.Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle including Requirements analysis, Test Planning, Test case development, Test environment setup, Test Execution, Closure.
2.Should be Proficient in java programming language (Python-good to have).
3.Should have strong experience with Appium (cross-platform) and XCUITest (native iOS).
4.Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) is required
5.Experience in integrating tests with Azure DevOps Pipelines (CI/CD setup) is required.
6.Strong understanding of the iOS ecosystem and how to enroll devices for testing in needed.
7.Experience with configuring and managing real iOS devices, including handling provisioning profiles, UDIDs, and signing certificates.
8.Should posses strong knowlwdge on setting up Appium to interact with real iOS devices (including WebDriverAgent for Appium-XCUITest) and handle complex scenarios like backgrounding apps.
9. Familiarity with setting up and maintaining local device farms. Experience with cloud testing platforms like Browser Stack, or AWS Device Farm, is good to have.
10.Should be experienced with gesture simulation in automating complex gestures (swipe, pinch, multi-touch) accurately on real devices.
11.Should be knowledgeable in troubleshooting flakiness and ensuring stable test execution on real devices, where physical factors (e.g., touch sensitivity, device orientation) can impact results. In addition to the above requirements, below points also can be considered.
12.Should have good understanding of QA Methodologies having various practices and standards
13.Experience in analyzing logs to understand application behaviour and in developing solutions to overcome testing challenges
14.Experience in optimizing testing processes for improvement based on data
