Vice President/Chief Human Resource Officer
Job Description:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create a high-performance culture and ensure the HR team supports business needs across multiple plant locations.
- Support plant heads with workforce planning, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
Labor Relations & Union Management:
- Lead negotiations for collective bargaining agreements with union representatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and union contracts. Manage and resolve labor disputes and grievances in collaboration with plant managers.
Talent Acquisition & Retention:
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for both plant operations and corporate roles.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee retention, engagement, and development, particularly in a competitive manufacturing environment.
Performance Management & Development:
- Implement performance management processes that promote accountability and development. Foster a continuous learning culture through training and development programs
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance & Oversee safety initiatives across all plants.
Diversity & Inclusion:
- Implement Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
- Lead the development and implementation of CSR initiatives aligned with the company's values and regulatory requirements.
Administration & Facilities Management:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of all company facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive working environment across all locations.
Security:
- Oversee third-party security service providers and other third party service providers viz., housekeeping services etc.
5S Implementation & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead and promote the 5S, ESG & HSE practices to enhance operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Masters in Business Administration in HR; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Proven experience managing HR in a multi-site organization with unionized environments.
- Expertise in labor law, collective bargaining, contract negotiation, and compliance with labor department regulations (PF, ESI, etc.). safety regulations, 5 S.
- Experience in managing administration, including facilities, security, and travel services.
