Assistant Manager -Packaging Development

Job Description:

• Qualification: Graduate with Diploma from the Indian Institute of Packaging Technology (IIP)

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Packaging Development with expertise in flexible packaging for Pharma, Medical, Food, and Personal Care products. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of packaging materials, industry standards, and vendor management to ensure high-quality packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Flexible Packaging Expertise: Deep knowledge of flexible packaging, including lid foil, strip foil, blister foil, GLP, pouches, recycle-ready laminate in mono-material, and medical device packaging compliant with ISO 11607 and ASTM standards.
• Market Trend Analysis: Stay updated with emerging trends in FMCG and Pharma packaging to implement innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
• Vendor Development: Identify and develop new vendors for printing and packaging raw materials to ensure a diversified supply chain.
• Product Safety & Compliance: Ensure that raw material vendors meet standard safety requirements and industry regulations.
• Vendor Audit & Testing: Conduct vendor audits, approve suppliers, and oversee testing and validation trials for commercial supply.
• Sample Analysis & Feasibility Check: Analyze new packaging samples, assess their specifications, and determine their feasibility for production.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with Pre-Press and Structural Development teams to ensure seamless execution of packaging solutions.
