Information Security Engineer - CISSP/CISM/CISA (4-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Security professional for a contract position in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security frameworks like SEBI CSCRF and ISO 27001, along with hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools.

This role will primarily focus on ensuring vendor project delivery aligns with security requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

- Ensure vendor project delivery adheres to established security policies, procedures, and timelines.

- Proactively identify and escalate potential delays in vendor project delivery to management.

- Develop and deliver weekly project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.

- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address security concerns and ensure compliance with SEBI CSCRF and ISO 27001 controls.

- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans using tools like Nessus, NMAP, and Acunetix.

- Perform basic penetration testing using tools like Kali Linux.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of security policies and procedures.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

- Assist in incident response activities as needed.

Required Skills :

- 4-8 years of experience in Information Security or IT Security.

- Strong understanding of SEBI CSCRF and ISO 27001 controls.

- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, NMAP, Acunetix).

- Experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Kali Linux).

- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other security frameworks and regulations.

- Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and application security.

- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

Educational Qualifications :

- B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Sc./B.Sc. in Computer Science.
