General Manager / Sr. Manager- Technical and Marketing For Pharma Co.

Role & responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the growth of sales of the animal health division across Pan India

2. Overseeing daily marketing operations/ activities and achieving sales targets

3. Build & manage relationships with key customers and distributors

4. Lead and manage a team of sales staff

5. Work with management to develop strategic sales and marketing plan for the growth of the animal health business

6. Provide technical advice and support to customers on application of products

7. Brand Management of Veterinary and Canine products. Handled activities of Technical & Regulatory function.

8. Designed Marketing Strategies and its successful implementation in the field to ensure business growth.

9. Analyze the business and conduct deep dive analysis and provide routine executive level reporting to management on the current business and future opportunities.

10. Basic training and refreshers programs for field force

11. Manage track and report all sales and marketing activities, KPIs and results. Stay up to date on industry trend and completion

12. Analyze, prepare, and monitor the marketing or brand building budget on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis and allocate funds wisely

13. Create and manage promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding

14. Monitor brand compliance across project and marketing material to deliver consistent brand experience

15. Responsible for providing sales team to enable them to sell the products.

16. Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept upto date on new development regarding the companies or competitors product

17. Act as point of first reference of all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues to address any issues that may arise.

18. Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan and for controlling advertising, promotion and sails aids in accordance with the annual marketing plan.

19. Responsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at factory including liaison with production(locally) to ensure supply timelines.

Key Competency Required:

• Possess a degree in Animal Science/Veterinary Medicine or a related discipline
• 10 years technical and Sales experience in the Animal Health Industry
• Sales skill and technical knowledge is mandatory for holding presentations and customer discussions

• Knowledge Required
• 10-15years of experience in Pharma Marketing.
• Relevant Experience in Veterinary Pharmaceuticals industry
• Computerproficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions.
• Relevant Experience in Strategic Marketing inputs & designing.
