vConstruct is a construction technology company based in Pune, India. vConstruct specializes in providing services and solutions in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Project Controls Management, Accounting, Data Science and Analytics and Software Development. vConstruct was started with the vision of transforming the construction industry by the use of technology.
vConstruct, an entrepreneurial organization, has forayed into product development for construction by leveraging its deep understanding of construction processes and driven by our deeply rooted core value of Ever-Forward Spirit.


vConstruct made a commitment to this journey of product development by starting a separate business unit in 2022. The team has grown to 20 developers in less than a year. This team is working on a SaaS Product in Construction Management space built around BIM and AI/ML. It's a large market opportunity with a potential to revolutionize construction workflows by scaling up the efficiency and quality many folds and disrupt the market in a big way. We are close to the MVP with some initial market validations and interest. We are looking to scale the product now with the best-in-class architecture, unique features, and actionable intelligence through AI/ML.


We are looking for a Sales Manager who will bring in customers and generate revenue. We also expect this role to be able to apply creative, analytical, quantitative, and qualitative analysis to gauge market size, do competitor analysis, come up with a pricing, marketing and sales strategy and execute them effectively.


Responsibilities

We are looking for candidates with empathy and emotional intelligence at the forefront of customer interactions. Ideal candidates will identify and network with potential customers. They will also build genuine connections with our clients and guide them toward solutions that address their needs.

  • Identify and pursue potential customers or clients through various sales channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Deliver compelling product and service presentations to showcase their value and address client questions head-on.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure deals while maintaining profitability for the company.
  • Convert leads into sales by resolving client concerns and guiding them through the purchasing process.
  • Provide ongoing support to existing clients while ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for improvement.
  • Set and track sales goals and implement strategies for driving growth.
  • Maintain sales records and provide quarterly sales reports.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, product development, and customer service to align efforts, leverage resources, and maximize sales opportunities.


Skills
- 4 plus years of previous experience in sales
- Experience with sales of SaaS Product
- Experience selling in construction sector will be a big plus
- Demonstrated success in pipeline and revenue generation
- Excellent teamwork; ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and contextualize them


Education
- Bachelors or Masters Degree with specialization in Computers / Civil / Architecture or related field
- MBA preferred
