Project Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

Estimate & Costing:

• Prepare accurate estimates and costings for prospective projects.

Process Understanding:

• Gain in-depth knowledge of joinery and factory processes to create rough estimates and comprehend overall project costing.

Detailed Quoting:

• Develop detailed quotes based on technical drawings and project specifications.

Coordination:

• Liaise with tradies to organize materials, manage fabrication, and oversee installation processes.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:

• 1-3 years as a Project Coordinator or Junior Project Coordinator within the interior design, spatial design, or custom joinery manufacturing industries.

Education:

• Degree or Diploma in relevant fields.

Skills:

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills to effectively coordinate with Australian trades and international teams.
• Mathematical Proficiency: Strong math skills for accurate project costing and budgeting.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to understand technical designs, including material knowledge, execution processes, and drawing preparation.
• Project Expertise: Experience in creating Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for clients and coordinating with internal and external agencies.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and develop new skills, standards, and tools.
