Job Description

Job Overview:

The Executive - Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales growth through proactive lead generation, cold calling, and customer engagement. This role involves identifying potential customers, promoting the companys wire mesh products, and handling customer inquiries. The Executive will also prepare and submit quotes, on board new customers in the ERP system, and provide ongoing customer support to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as the role requires efficient handling of multiple leads and coordination with internal teams to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Conversion:

  • Potential leads identified and provided by the Business Intelligence team shall be contacted to convert them in to customers.
  • Build and maintain a database of prospective orders from leads/customers to drive sales opportunities.

2. Market Segmentation:

  • Analyze and segment the market to target specific customer groups based on industry, location, and business size.
  • Execute the sales strategies created by the management to cater to different segments to maximize market penetration.

3. Product Marketing:

  • Present and promote the company’s products to prospective customers, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages for any repeat orders.
  • Stay updated on product specifications and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.

4. Enquiry Handling:

  • Handle customer enquiries efficiently, providing detailed information about products, pricing, and availability.
  • Record and track customer inquiries and ensure they are followed up in a timely manner.

5. Quotation handling:

  • Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to prepare accurate quotes based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary details, including pricing, delivery timelines, and terms, are included in the quotes.
  • Submit quotes to customers and follow up regularly to secure orders.
  • Address the customer queries related to quotes.

6. New Customer On boarding in ERP:

  • Register new customers in the ERP system and ensure all relevant customer information is entered accurately.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless on boarding process and provide necessary customer documentation.

7. Customer Support:

  • Provide ongoing support to customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries related to products, deliveries, or post-sales service.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and long-term relationship.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 0 – 1 year of experience in tele sales for graduates, preferably in manufacturing or industrial products.
  • 3+ years of similar experience for diploma holders in the same field.
  • Certifications: Any relevant customer service training is an added advantage.Role & responsibilities
