Assists with the development of and maintenance of assigned project plans.
Assists with business user interviews and elicits, documents, and analyzes business applications requirements. Documents current operational procedures, problems, and levels of systems access. Addresses inter-departmental issues.
Champions and sells improvement ideas using effective cost-benefit analysis.
Maintains user access roles and authorizations including compliance with segregation of duties policies.
Assists with testing and cutover activities. Documents test plans and facilitates integration testing, acceptance testing and defect resolution.
Creates and maintains documentation for system design, configuration, testing, and business processes.
Analyze, design, and implement solutions within the SAP FICO module, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Understand and manage the integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, and HR, ensuring data consistency and process efficiency.
Configure and customize SAP FICO to meet specific business needs, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), and Controlling (CO).
Support and enhance SAP BW and BI reporting, ensuring accurate data extraction and reporting from SAP FICO.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and reporting capabilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAP FICO and related modules, providing expert support to end-users.
Lead or participate in SAP projects, including upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP FICO configurations, integrations, and reporting processes.
Train and support end-users in understanding and utilizing SAP FICO and its related reporting tools.
Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration, or Information Technology preferred. SAP university training is preferable.
At least three years of hands -on experience with SAP configuration and support, including at least 1 SAP rollout.
An understanding of SAP FICO configuration, project management principles (PMP), and user acceptance testing.
An understanding of business system implementation issues.
Hands-on experience with SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling. Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA is a plus.
Experience with SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) is preferable.
Experience creating and maintaining end user and technical documentation.
Ability to show proficiency in the SAP Financial and Controlling functional modules including linkage to Sales/Distribution, Materials, Purchasing, and production modules.
Ability to comprehend and communicate accurately, clearly and concisely in English.
