Role Description :
As an IT Support Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients' technical needs. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving IT issues, providing timely and effective solutions, and building strong relationships with our clients. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and your commitment to customer satisfaction will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities :
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex IT problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and applications.
- Provide support for operating systems, applications, and network devices.
- Assess clients' IT needs and provide strategic advice and recommendations.
- Develop and implement IT solutions to improve clients' business operations.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on IT best practices.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets and incidents.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Document support activities and resolutions.
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
- Implement proactive measures to prevent system downtime.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Generate reports on support activities and system performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of technical concepts.
Qualifications :
Experience :
- Proven experience in IT support or consulting roles.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience in providing remote and on-site support.
Technical Skills :
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Experience with network devices and protocols (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software applications and hardware components.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of IT security best practices.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
