Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Azure Cloud, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management.
• Use Terraform to define and deploy cloud infrastructure as code, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration as code (CaC).
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement cloud-based applications and services, including containerization and orchestration.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps and other tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications, including performance and security issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure Cloud and Terraform technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement DevOps processes and standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and applications, including architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, including experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
• Experience with Python scripting, including experience with Azure Cloud SDK and other Python libraries.
• Strong understanding of Terraform, including experience with Terraform configuration files and state management.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps and other tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex system performance issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with development teams and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Familiarity with business architecture and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools, including ServiceNow and BMC Helix.
