Manual Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Verifying Testing requests to ensure high level of coverage and quality.
• Engage in comprehensive requirement gathering, analyzing gathered requirements, and estimating testing efforts for activities.
• Manage UAT testing for countries, with a focus on scenarios like Retail CRM Application with Customer 360, Service requests, Leads like ETB, NTB, Key register automation, customer onboarding, and customer handling.
• Design test cases and scenarios for UAT testing, and contributing to the creation of Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases, while reviewing project artifacts.
• Produce testing reports, including Daily Status Dashboard, Defect Status, and Project Closure reports. Develop Automation Scripts using Selenium-WebDriver and offering valuable inputs to increase the Automation Framework.
• Implement advanced testing methodologies to ensure optimal software quality, initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain testing standards and best practices. Coordinate to the development of a robust test strategy aligned with overall project objectives.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing cutting-edge testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Perform in the planning and execution of automation initiatives to enhance test coverage and speed up testing cycles.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing. Verifying and validating supporting documents like business requirements, user stories Implementation Specification, Impact Analysis Documents, etc.
• Ensure test coverage and quality of ADIB application releases, projects, enhancements, and bug fixes are in place and respective testing suits are also developed as appropriate.
• Escalate / mitigate the risks and resolves issues that affect release schedule and quality pro-actively.
• Align and understand all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
• Continually work towards making improvements in the Testing models and methodologies.
• Defect tracking and bug fixes testing
