ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

Position - Senior Research Analyst

Department - Credit Research

Location - Mumbai

Reporting - Head of Credit Research

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client management:

- Conduct accurate scoping of research assignments/projects Meet & surpass the client expectations.

- Seek regular client feedback from stakeholders.

- Incorporate the feedback & close the loop.

- Effective escalation management.

- Delivery-cum-relationship management

Delivery management:

- Meet & surpass the delivery client &/or ValueAdd benchmarks in terms of quality & timelines.

- Successfully independently deliver a variety of research assignments including credit modelling across global IG, HY, Lev loans and distressed debt, initiation coverage notes, investment idea generation, industry research, research coverage maintenance, news & impact analysis, and bond and covenants analysis.

- Discuss investment ideas on client calls as well.

- Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction

Team management: (Only applicable for Team Leads)

- Right Staffing, for all the requirements.

- Lead the team to deliver high quality research to clients.

- Upskill the team members to make them independent for client delivery.

- Conduct classroom and on-the-job training for team members.

- Do regular mentoring & career development plans for team members.

- Plan and execute recreational & team events/outings

Marketing, business development, organization development support

- Support on business proposals, Scope of Work documents, collaterals, and samples.

- Effectively contribute on calls with clients and prospects as a Domain Expert.

- Contribute towards marketing & thought leadership content.

- Execute/participate in other organizational development initiatives

Educational, experience, and skills requirements:

- Postgraduate/CFA/CA/MBA Finance & equivalent.

- 8+ years' experience in credit research with global banks, rating agencies, wealth management firms, sell-side/buy-side firms, and KPOs.

- Sound financial/cash flow modelling skills, good analytical writing skills, idea generation capability, and specialization in multiple industries is desirable.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

- Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated, Proven client management experience.

- Hands-on experience on 3rd party databases is mandatory

Other skills requirements:

- Proven leadership, team management & client management experience.

- Strong team player, Strong professional ethics and business etiquette

- Preferably, onshore experience is preferred.
