Position: Research Analyst

Department : Investment Banking Research

Location : Mumbai

Reporting : Head of Research

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client management:

- Should scope out the research assignments/projects independently

- Meet & surpass the client expectations

- Incorporate client feedback promptly

Delivery management:

- Meet/surpass the delivery standard set by clients

- Deliver variety of research assignments across M&A, Equity/Debt Capital Markets, and

Advisory, including information memorandums, equity/credit valuation modeling,

company tearsheets, industry research, pitchbooks, peer comps, precedent transaction

comps, M&A valuations, and news & impact analysis

- Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction

Marketing, business development, organization development support

- Support on collaterals and samples

- Contribute towards marketing & thought leadership content

Educational, experience, and skills requirements:

- Post-graduate/MBA/CFA/FRM with specialization in Finance from a reputed institution

- Average 5 years of prior experience in investment banking/equity research

- Need sound financial/cash flow modeling skills, presentation skills, good analytical writing skills, and specialization in multiple industries is desirable

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated

- Hands-on experience on 3rd party databases is preferred
