Job Description
Under the supervision of the Principal/Program Manager, utilize Engineering Mathematics, Operations/Logistics, Statistics, Inventory Management, and Production Planning analytics to obtain solutions for Clients Supply Chain Management, Demand planning and Forecasting problems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Work with Clients/Program Managers to gather extensive sales data and conduct analysis for delivering demand planning solutions.
2. Review & Examine extensive sales data and apply industrial planning expertise to select and refine data for analysis using tools like SAP IBP/APO, Forecast Pro, and other Forecasting software.
3. Analyze available financial statements and present the financial ratios impacting the supply chain.
4. Develop & Formulate customized mathematical modeling in order to analyze & interpret sales data and determine which alternatives/options are the most efficient economical outcomes.
5. Optimize & Enhance methods to develop, interpret, and validate information that assist clients in demand planning decisions, policy formulation, and other supply chain management functions.
6. After completing the analysis, create and deliver project reports in detail, within optimal time, costs, and processes for client evaluation, review, and implementation.
7. Work with clients, internal operations analysts, supply chain engineers and managers to educate them regarding their sales data to accurately project demand forecasts and facilitate better logistics/supply chain methods.
8. Support the Principals/Program Managers in making client presentations of analytical findings.
Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Master s degree in Operations & Supply Chain Management , Finance, Engineering, Management, or a closely related field.
OR
Two years of professional experience in Operations & Supply Chain Management with a focus on Demand/Sales/Supply planning & Forecasting .
2. Candidates with experience in a fast-paced environment as well as the use of data analysis tools and development of reports using Power BI, Advanced Excel would be preferred.
3. Exposure to Python, SQL , R programming language would be a plus.
4. Excellent Spoken and Written English skills and an analytical mindset.
