Engineer, R&D

Design Engineer is responsible for design & development of industrial ball valves soft seated & metal ball valves product line. In this position, you will design and develop a new ball valve product line to support our global growth targets.

• Design engineer is responsible for activities like
• Conceptualise innovative ideas, experiment proof of concept design, prototype build & test.
• Mechanical engineering design and calculations,
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance, Tolerance Stack Up Analysis
• Manufacturing drawing creation, BOM, Instruction manual and testing procedure
• Co-ordinating with supplier and production for sample development.
• Prepare technical files for certifications like PED, API, SIL etc.
• Interact with Product Manager for better understanding of customer`s requirement.
• Closely work with global product centres to apply best engineering practices.
• Run DFMEA, DFM, DFA and contribute to design reviews.
• Maintains engineering documentation in support of product design, company standards, and regulatory requirements through the appropriate Product Data Management systems.
