Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our commercial initiatives in the automotive sector.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and expand market share.
- As a key member of the leadership team, you will manage a dynamic team, oversee market analysis, and ensure alignment between sales and marketing activities to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business targets and increase market share.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, setting clear goals and providing ongoing support.
- Identify new market opportunities, monitor industry trends, and adjust strategies accordingly to remain competitive.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Oversee the development of marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure effective collaboration between sales and marketing teams to generate leads, convert prospects, and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports to the executive team on progress and areas for improvement.
- Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with clients to ensure profitability.
- Manage the department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and build brand awareness.
Qualifications and Skills:.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large sales and marketing teams.
- Strong understanding of the automotive market, including key players, trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Experience in the electric vehicle (EV) or hybrid vehicle markets.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
