Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and expand customer base within the lighting industry.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals. Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews to develop team skills and competencies.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the lighting sector. Utilize insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders. Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking performance against goals. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and enhance customer experience.

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management within the lighting industry or a related field.

• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
