Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Reduce purchase cost through better negotiation and planning
• Reduce dead stock
• To achieve vendor satisfaction by ensuring timely payment to supplier as per company policy.
• Vendor to be paid after conducting following steps 1) checking material quality report

2) check and tally PO for rates

3) final check all bills

• To ensure all material availability as per lead time and requirement
• Prepare comparison chart for evaluating suppliers.
• Mail PO to suppliers, follow up with supplier to ensure purchase deadline are met
• Purchase all material as per specification

1) Item list

2) Description

3) Re-order quantity

4) Quality

• Coordinate for faulty supply with vendors

• Adhere to companys stock maintenance policy and 5S standards
• Take initiative for technology up-gradation like introducing pallet, conveyor belt, etc
• Trend analysis for raw material monthly

Any task given by authority

• Reduce purchase cost by 3% monthly as compared to previous year. This will be evaluated monthly.
• Dead stock to be not more than 1 % of total purchase cost
• All vendor payment to be made by 15th of every month

All bills with dispute to be cleared by 1st of every next month

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in Purchase Dept, RM Purchase.
