Job Title: Process Engineer

As the Process Simulation Engineer at Utthunga, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of process simulation models for our clients. You will work closely with our engineering and project management teams to deliver high-quality process simulation solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Development of process simulation models using industry-leading software and tools
- Collaborate with our engineering and project management teams to ensure that the projects are delivered within agreed schedules as per Quality standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of deliverables (DCS integrated models) to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Provide support to our clients and engineering team throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to final implementation (dynamic model development, MAT, DCS integration, Pre FAT, FAT, SAT).
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in dynamic process simulation to continuously improve our offerings and maintain our competitive edge

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in process simulation, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects (Refinery units)

- Any Refinery or petrochemical unit operations or technical services, process monitoring on historian, troubleshooting, beginner level simulation knowledge, medium level Excel skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard process simulation software and tools, such as UniSim, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar

- Knowledge of DCS integration is an added advantage 
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage with clients.
