SOC Manager- Immediate requirement

Role & responsibilities

• SOC performance goals and priorities, Supervise and monitor the quality of services provided by the SOC vendor for SLA/Compliances
• Act as liaison between the Security Operations team and Banks various departments (IT, etc.).
• Continuously assess and improve the SOC's capabilities, processes, and procedures, with reference to latest trends and developments in cyber security and incorporate them into the SOC's operations.
• Conduct regular assessments, audits, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
• Ensure that the SOC's activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Extensive experience working with SIEM, Log Aggregators, Incident Response Management solutions
• Strong technical knowledge of Networking, Operating Systems and enterprise integrations
• Experience managing standards, developing Security Operations Process
• Proven experience with multiple security event detection platforms
• Provide exceptional tier 1-3 operational management, analysis, and investigation of security incidents
• Experience in management, IT Security, operations, ITIL frame work, agile project management, and leadership.
• Analyzing/improve incident response efforts, guide team appropriately towards successful incident mitigation, response, and improvements thereof.
• Coordination Various Audits including those from RBI, Statutory audits, external vendors, IS-CS audits, etc.
• Cyber-Lab Management -Overall management of cyber-lab including the program management, upkeep of the latest images, guiding IS team members, help resolve technical issues, etc.
• Managing the IDRBT Cyber Drill.
• Daily monitoring of attack surface, issue tracking, mitigation, reporting, updates/creation of use cases
• Managing SOC tools and resources

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate from recognized university.
• SIEM related certifications (e.g., for Qradar, Splunk, ArcSight, etc.)
• Experience handling SIEM tools like Qradar, Splunk, ArcSight etc.
• 6 + years of Experience handling SOC operations for NBFCs or Banks.
