Job Title: Oracle Fusion Service Manager


Overview:
The Oracle Fusion Service Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end management of Oracle Fusion Cloud services, ensuring that all aspects of the service (including implementation, support, maintenance, and optimization) are delivered effectively. This role involves liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the system is fully utilized and aligns with organizational objectives while managing a team of Oracle Fusion professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Management:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, and CRM Cloud.
  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle Fusion services to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Ensure that all service level agreements (SLAs) and performance expectations are met and maintained for Oracle Fusion services.

Project Oversight:

  • Manage and oversee Oracle Fusion implementation projects from initiation to go-live, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and in accordance with business requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (business leaders, functional teams, and Oracle consultants) to define project scope, goals, and timelines.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, monitor progress, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of Oracle Fusion specialists, providing direction and mentorship to ensure high performance and efficiency.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting effective teamwork and communication across departments.

Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the business, IT teams, and Oracle support.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, keeping them informed and involved throughout the service delivery process.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into system enhancements or configurations within Oracle Fusion to meet evolving needs.

Incident and Problem Management:

  • Oversee the resolution of incidents and service disruptions, working with technical teams and Oracle support to minimize downtime and business impact.
  • Implement and track incident management processes, ensuring the quick identification and resolution of system issues.
  • Ensure root cause analysis is performed for critical incidents and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.

Service Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, including process automation, service enhancements, and system upgrades.
  • Lead regular review meetings with stakeholders to assess system performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Technical Expertise:

  • Maintain deep expertise in Oracle Fusion applications and cloud services, providing strategic guidance and technical advice.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure Oracle Fusion Cloud applications adhere to relevant security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR).
  • Monitor and enforce the application of best practices for data security, access controls, and system audits.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing programs related to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, CRM, etc.).
  • Proven experience in managing cloud-based services, particularly Oracle Fusion Applications.
  • Prior experience in managing Oracle Fusion implementations or large-scale system migrations is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing teams and projects.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including their capabilities, features, and architecture.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams.

Certifications:

  • Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist for Oracle Cloud Applications (highly desirable).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, CRM Cloud) are preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrating Fusion applications with other systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices within the Oracle Cloud environment.
