Project Details:

The project involves designing and implementing end-to-end ETL solutions using IBM DataStage. It includes data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources into a data warehouse. The role requires optimizing ETL performance, ensuring data integrity, and providing production support. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and compliance standards is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to the team and evaluate all code implementations.
• Develop and execute tests for DataStage jobs to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor and provide production support for all DataStage jobs.
• Design, analyze, and optimize ETL job execution.
• Apply performance tuning techniques to enhance job efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with business regulations and best practices.
• Coordinate with team members to manage onsite and offshore work packages.
• Plan and schedule DataStage tasks effectively.
• Review functional business applications and specifications.
• Design block diagrams and logic flowcharts to streamline development.
• Prepare software designs and documentation at both program and user levels.
• Maintain and test all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Design and manage data warehouses, ensuring seamless ETL integration.
• Develop ETL architecture and associated procedures.
• Analyze system performance and implement capacity planning strategies.
