Offshore Portfolio Manager

Role : Offshore Portfolio Manager

Location : Hyderabad (Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Management

• Oversee the execution of all projects within the portfolio, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor project milestones, risks, and dependencies, providing guidance and resolving issues proactively.
• Ensure adherence to organizational delivery frameworks, processes, and quality standards.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies.

2. Financial Management

• Own the financial performance of the portfolio, including revenue, profitability, and cost optimization.
• Track and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for all projects.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality.
• Ensure accurate billing and timely revenue recognition in alignment with financial targets.

3. Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and motivate project managers and other team members within the portfolio.
• Facilitate resource planning, allocation, and optimization to meet project requirements.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

4. Customer Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for senior customer stakeholders within the portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with their business objectives.
• Address and resolve customer escalations promptly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to drive additional value for the customer.

5. Strategic Portfolio Oversight

• Align the portfolio strategy with organizational goals and customer priorities.
• Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 12 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management, with a track record of successful delivery.
• Experience managing large, complex portfolios with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
• Expertise in project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models).
• Proficiency in financial management, including budget tracking and forecasting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer and internal stakeholder relationships.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
• Proficiency in portfolio and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar).

Certifications (Preferred)

• PMP, PgMP, or PfMP certification.
• Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, CSM, or equivalent).
