Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement Splunk solutions to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
- Create and optimize Splunk search queries and knowledge objects.
- Configure and manage Splunk data inputs and data models.
- Implement and maintain Splunk apps and add-ons.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk performance and data issues.
- Configure and manage data ingestion from various sources into Splunk.
- Develop and maintain data parsing and transformation rules.
- Optimize data indexing and storage for efficient search performance.
- Ensure data quality and consistency within Splunk.
- Develop complex SPL queries for data analysis and reporting.
- Optimize SPL queries for performance and efficiency.
- Create and maintain SPL-based dashboards and visualizations.
- Configure and manage Splunk alerts and notifications.
- Develop and maintain alert rules and thresholds.
- Integrate Splunk alerts with other monitoring and incident management systems.
- Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment of Splunk configurations and apps.
- Use Bitbucket for version control and collaboration on Splunk development projects.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Splunk deployments.
- Manage and maintain Splunk configuration files in Bitbucket.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Splunk configurations and processes.
- Generate reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security analysts.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Participate in agile development processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Splunk features and best practices.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve Splunk performance and efficiency.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions.
Mandatory Technical Skills :
SPLUNK :
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Splunk development and administration.
Jenkins :
- Proficiency in using Jenkins for CI/CD and automation.
Bitbucket :
- Proficiency in using Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
- Experience with Splunk data ingestion and indexing.
- Experience with Splunk dashboard creation and alert configuration.
Preferred Technical Skills :
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Splunk certifications (Splunk Core Certified User, Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin).
- Experience with regular expressions.
- Experience with API integration.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience as a Splunk Developer or related role.
