UST - Jira Solutions Architect - AWS Cloud (15-17 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to take on the role of managing and maintaining JIRA Datacenter on the AWS Cloud. The associate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and troubleshooting of our JIRA platform while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency. The responsibilities and required skillsets for the role are outlined below :

Responsibilities :

1. JIRA Datacenter Management : Setup, maintain, and optimize JIRA Datacenter hosted on the AWS Cloud.

2. Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues encountered during JIRA platform integration.

3. Authentication Integration : Collaborate with customers to integrate their authentication tools or UST-defined authentication solutions with the JIRA platform.

4. Monitoring Setup : Work with NOC/SOC teams to establish and maintain monitoring activities for the JIRA application.

5. Compliance Reviews : Regularly configure and review infrastructure to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.

6. Vulnerability Assessments : Conduct periodic VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) of the JIRA application to ensure its security.

7. Change Management : Present proposed infrastructure changes to the CAB (Change Advisory Board) for review and approval.

Required Skillsets :

1. Linux OS : Familiarity with Linux operating systems for efficient platform management.

2. Tomcat Server : Basic knowledge of Tomcat server setup and maintenance.

3. Identity Management : Working experience with identity management solutions such as Okta, Azure

Directory Services, and their integration with business applications.

4. Ticket Management Tools : Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps, including service API integrations.

5. AWS Cloud : Basic understanding of AWS Cloud services and their application to infrastructure management.

6. Application Integration : Knowledge of application integration using webhooks (nice to have).

7. Front-End Basics : Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for minor customizations and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills :

- Expertise in Okta and related identity management systems.

- Solution architecture and software architecture knowledge.

- Experience working in the healthcare domain is an added advantage.
