Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Web API Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure Web APIs using .NET Core. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate the APIs into various applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with RESTful services, and a solid understanding of modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful Web APIs using .NET Core.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize and refactor code for maximum performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for APIs, including integration guides and endpoints.
• Implement security best practices for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, front-end, QA) to ensure API quality, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues that arise in the API development process.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure API functionality.
• Ensure APIs are versioned and backward-compatible.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to web services and APIs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

• Proven experience developing Web APIs using .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful principles and Web API design patterns.
• Proficient in C# and .NET Core framework.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM tools.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of JWT (JSON Web Tokens) and OAuth2 for secure API authentication.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of API testing frameworks (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
