Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development within the government sector, particularly with the Telangana Government. The candidate should have a solid understanding of government tenders, business development strategies, bidding processes, and tender management. This role requires the ability to navigate complex tendering systems, ensuring that all submissions are accurate and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities within the government sector, with a specific focus on the Telangana government.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government departments, agencies, and related organizations.
• Lead the entire tendering process, including tender preparation, bid submission, and post-submission activities.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of tenders, including responding to e-tendering platforms, tender documentation, and coordinating with internal teams for accurate and timely submissions.
• Analyze and evaluate government tender opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations related to tendering and business development.
• Liaise with external consultants, partners, and subcontractors to ensure all technical, financial, and legal requirements of tenders are met.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government tendering processes and e-tendering portals (e.g., GEM, eProcurement).
• Coordinate and follow up with government representatives during and after the submission process.
• Track and report on the success rate of tenders, identifying areas for improvement.
• Support the preparation of proposal documents, presentations, and other business development materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
• Up to 6 years of experience in business development, specifically in government tenders and bidding processes.
• Hands-on experience with Indian government tendering systems, including e-tendering platforms (e.g., GEM, eProcurement).
• In-depth knowledge of government bidding processes, tender documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of the Telangana government’s procurement processes is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in evaluating tenders and preparing submissions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with Telangana state government departments and agencies.
• Familiarity with the specific regulations and standards of Telangana government procurement.
• Knowledge of public-private partnership (PPP) models and their implementation in government projects.
