Sr. Manager - Supply Chain & Operationr at warehouse -Mumbai(Bhiwandi)

Role & responsibilities::

1. Dealer Service & Logistic Operations:-

• Efficiently management of location Logistics Operation like transportation planning (route planning & load planning) and Space planning & capacity management.
• Effective utilization of warehousing capacity using different warehouse techniques such as warehouse matrix, FIFO, frequent movers and ageing analysis.
• Achieve operational efficiency and optimize cost by continuously reviewing the budgeted v/s actual expenditure.
• Facilitate the sales team in supply chain operations timely execution of every sales order by regular coordination & follow-ups with concerned stakeholder.
• Act as a solution advisor for Sales Team and Trade partners for Supply Chain related queries.
• Efficient management of defective collection from dealers or transporter point
• Timely preparation, reconciliation and circulation of BND and ageing report to the sales team

2. Compliance and Audits:-

• Ensuring that all supply chain operations are carried within the statutory framework like registration
• Ensuring timely and regular audit pertaining to Supply Chain and Warehouse SOPs.
• Support in conducting monthly and quarterly audits along PSV (Physical Stock Verification) as per defined guidelines
• Review the various audit reports (Internal, External & PSV) and also give justification for queries raised in audits in consultation with SAH

3. People Management:-

• Set expectations and reporting protocols clear within the team encourage open and a two-way communication
• Drive the business performance in the region through direct reports and apprise them of their strengths and areas of improvement
• Establish clear accountability and decision rights for each team member
• Identify high performers and non-performers within the team and take necessary actions in consultation with HR
• Provide periodically skilful feedback to his team and ensure that individual get the right skill uplifting trainings as well as project/assignment based training • Identify successor within the team and groom them for higher role.

4. Operational Efficiency & Improvement:-

• Explore new ways to reduce the cost and ensure zero vehicle detention as per SLAs • Ensure the high level of cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the warehouse as per defined guidelines
• Preparation of various daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual MIS for locations and HO and responsible for maintaining & preparing data for Commercial review and Supply Chain audits.
• Develop effective communication within team and other departments for smooth and efficient operations

Preferred candidate profile:-

• Effective management of location supply chain operations to enhance the stakeholder satisfaction
• Instrumental in establishing & executing the Supply Chain strategy to achieve the location objectives and operational efficiency in Logistics operations
• Constantly look for various cost optimization measures to bring down the operating cost of the warehouse and transportation
• Ensure good working relationships with cross functional team in the location and support for the common location objectives
