Sourcing Specialist

Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Recyclers Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing end recyclers, identifying opportunities for waste reduction, and establishing long-term relationships with suppliers. You will help drive our company's sustainability goals by ensuring a consistent flow of quality recyclable materials for processing and reuse.Key Responsibilities:

• Material Sourcing: Identify and source end recyclers for the materials from which we procure from Industries, Retail outlets for recycling operations.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers of recyclable materials, negotiating pricing and terms as necessary.
• Market Analysis: Analyze recycling market trends, pricing, and demand for different materials to inform sourcing strategies.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the logistics of collecting and transporting materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to recycling facilities.
• Compliance: Ensure that all sourced materials meet environmental and regulatory compliance standards.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Assist in developing and implementing sustainability programs and initiatives within the company.
• Reporting: Track and report on material sourcing, recycling rates, and sustainability goals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and production teams to align material sourcing with business needs and recycling capabilities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally in the recycling or environmental sectors.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of recycling processes, material types, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental conservation.
• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or other relevant software.
