RKSV Securities was founded by Ravi Kumar and Shrinivas Viswanath in 2009 and was soon graced by Kavitha Subramanian as the third co-founder in 2016. Backed by Ratan Tata, Upstox had raised $4 million in Series A funding in early 2016 that was led by Kalaari Capital. The Series B funding round scaled multifold and witnessed an investment of $25 million by US-based investment firm - Tiger Global Management in September 2019.

Here is what you need to know about this role:

Roles - Editors/Animators

Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos for various platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, etc.).
• Trim, cut, and assemble footage while ensuring smooth transitions and storytelling flow.
• Add sound effects, background scores, and voiceovers to enhance video quality.
• Ensure color correction, grading, and visual consistency across all videos.

2. Animation & Motion Graphics

• Create eye-catching animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance video content.
• Develop 2D/3D animations, kinetic typography, and explainer videos as needed.
• Incorporate branding elements seamlessly into animated content.

3. Storytelling & Creative Conceptualization

• Collaborate with content creators and scriptwriters to bring concepts to life through visuals.
• Develop creative video ideas to improve engagement and audience retention.
• Experiment with new styles, formats, and editing techniques to enhance storytelling.

4. Asset & Media Management

• Organize and manage video assets, project files, and backups efficiently.
• Maintain structured file naming conventions and project workflow for seamless collaboration.

5. Optimization & Format Adaptation

• Adapt videos to different platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Optimize content for various resolutions, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements.

6. Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with designers, content teams, and marketing teams to align video output with brand messaging.
• Accept and incorporate feedback to refine video quality and storytelling.

7. Staying Updated with Industry Trends

• Keep up with the latest video editing software, animation tools, and industry trends.
• Experiment with emerging editing techniques and animation styles to stay ahead of competitors.
