IT/System Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting for both Windows and Linux servers.
• Monitor and optimize server performance for both Windows and Linux environments, ensuring high system availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage security measures for Windows and Linux servers to prevent unauthorized access and mitigate cyber threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to ensure smooth integration of server applications and services across both Windows and Linux platforms.
• Respond promptly to server-related incidents and provide technical support to resolve issues efficiently.
• Operate in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site duties with remote support as needed.
• Be available for off-hour support to address critical incidents and perform scheduled maintenance.

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certifications:

• CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Server+
• Microsoft Certified: Server Administrator Associate (or equivalent certification demonstrating proficiency in server administration).

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Server Administration, managing both Windows and Linux servers in a medium-scale enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with server installation, configuration, and maintenance across Windows Server (e.g., 2016, 2019, 2022) and Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Proven experience implementing and managing security measures for Windows and Linux servers.
