Finance Officer (10-16 yrs)

Overview:

- We are seeking a visionary Financial Officer to lead the development and execution of a Bitcoin-focused financial strategy.

- This role involves managing capital through equity, debt, and other instruments to acquire Bitcoin and manage it on the company's balance sheet.

- The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Indian capital markets, financial engineering, asset allocation, and Bitcoin-related financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Treasury Allocation & Management:

- Design and execute a strategy to acquire Bitcoin using various platforms, ensuring optimal pricing.

- Develop a financial forecast for raising capital and acquiring Bitcoin over the next two Bitcoin halving cycles (until 2032).

- Manage treasury operations, liquidity, debt, equity, and ensure compliance with financial policies.

- Analyze Bitcoin market trends, assess risks, and implement hedging strategies when required.

Financial Planning, Analysis & Stakeholder Relations:

- Prepare reports on Bitcoin holdings and overall financial strategy for management, investors, and regulators.

- Assess the impact of Bitcoin adoption on company performance, risk profile, and shareholder value.

- Communicate the strategic benefits and risks of Bitcoin to leadership, stakeholders, investors, and the media.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Develop a secure custody management system for Bitcoin with stringent checks and 24/7 asset safeguarding.

- Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure Bitcoin assets are fully insured.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and cryptocurrency-specific legal requirements.

- Establish frameworks to mitigate financial, legal, and market risks associated with Bitcoin.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, asset management, or treasury operations.

- Proven experience working with Bitcoin, blockchain technology, and treasury management.

- Experience with Indian capital markets and regulators such as SEBI, RBI, FEMA, and BSE.

Skills & Expertise:

- Strong understanding of Bitcoin, blockchain, and macroeconomic trends affecting cryptocurrency markets.

- Expertise in corporate finance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

- Proficient in financial modeling, strategic planning, and reporting.

- Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial strategies to various stakeholders.
