Key Mandatory Skills

- Proficiency in US GAAP and IGAAP standards.

- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and management reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis).

- Strong experience with ERP implementation and process automation.

- In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements under Companies Act, direct/indirect taxes (India and USA), and statutory audits.

- Demonstrated capability in corporate finance, payroll, tax management, accounts receivable/payable, and banking operations.

- Strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization experience.

Position Title: Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting:

- Close monthly and annual financials as per US GAAP/IGAAP; ensure timely audits.

- Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analyses.

- Manage corporate finance, payroll, taxation, banking, AR/AP, and audits.

- Generate detailed MIS reports, dashboards, and investor presentations.

2. Strategic Planning & Analysis:

- Perform financial performance analysis and develop cost-optimization strategies.

- Conduct monthly forecasting against annual targets and monitor costs/profits.

- Present clear and concise findings to senior management.

3. Compliance & Audits:

- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards in India and the USA, including tax planning.

- Handle Ministry of Corporate Affairs filings and liaise with auditors for timely audit completion.

4. Process Optimization:

- Implement ERP systems and streamline processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems.

5. Vendor & Commercial Management:

- Validate purchase/work orders; negotiate vendor contracts for cost efficiency.

- Manage domestic and global RFQs; oversee vendor compliance and reconciliation.

6. Tax Compliance:

- Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance (GST, VAT, Income Tax) in India and the USA.
