Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to expand our customer base in western India. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within large manufacturing industries, including steel, cement, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and other process-driven sectors.
- The role requires engaging with key decision-makers such as Chief Manufacturing Officers, Manufacturing Directors, Chief Digital Officers, CEOs, Maintenance Managers, and business owners.
- The primary focus is on acquiring new customers and driving business growth, along with strengthening relationships with existing clients to scale accounts further.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers as their primary point of contact.
- Identify key stakeholders in each account and align them during the evaluation and decision making phases.
- Effectively pitch value propositions to CXOs and other decision-makers.
- Work closely with the solution engineering team to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for existing customers.
- Tailor proposals to address the specific needs and concerns of various stakeholders.
- Conduct customer visits to mature deals and ensure accurate sales forecasting.
- Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6-10 years of experience in customer success or account management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Capability to articulate technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proven experience in conducting CXO-level discussions, emphasizing value over cost.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong presentation, problem-solving, and articulation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- MBA from a Tier-1 institute (preferred).
