Senior Appian Lead/Architect - BPM Platform (5-10 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Appian Developer/Lead/Architect to join our consulting team. This role is critical in driving the design, architecture, and delivery of innovative solutions on the Appian BPM platform. You will be responsible for defining problem statements, evaluating solution options, creating architectural blueprints, and leading the implementation of robust process automation applications. Your expertise will enable our clients to adapt to the changing global business landscape through efficient and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Solution Design and Development :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs, evaluate solution options, and recommend Appian-based solutions.

- Develop detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts for Appian applications.

- Implement and manage the deployment plan ensuring quality and scalability.

2. Technical Leadership :

- Act as a key technical lead, guiding teams of Appian Consultants, partners, and client resources to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Ensure adherence to Appian best practices, architectural principles, and coding standards.

- Mentor and train junior developers, providing technical oversight and expertise.

3. Appian Platform Expertise :

- Lead end-to-end development and architecture on Appian BPM (17.X/18.X) platforms.

- Design and implement distributed BPM-integrated applications and workflows.

- Perform Appian application-level administration, plug-in development, and integrations.

- Provide expertise in developing and debugging complex Appian solutions.

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement :

- Partner with business analysts, enterprise architects, and project managers to ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Participate in workshops and meetings to define project scope and requirements.

- Communicate effectively with diverse teams in global, offshore/onshore delivery models.

5. Quality Assurance and Optimization :

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Appian applications to improve performance and user experience.

- Implement strategies to enhance application efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.

6. Project Methodology and Best Practices :

- Demonstrate advanced understanding and application of project methodologies such as Scaled Agile or SCRUM.

- Drive process improvements and standardization across projects.

Requirements :

Required Qualifications :

1. Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Alternatively, three years of progressive experience can be substituted for each year of education.

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

2. Technical Expertise :

- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, architecting, and developing applications on Appian BPM (17.X/18.X).

- Proficiency in SQL Server or Oracle database development and optimization.

- Familiarity with distributed BPM systems and enterprise application integrations.

3. Certifications :

- Mandatory : Appian Level-2 Certification.

- Preferred : Appian Lead Designer Credential (highly advantageous).

4. Methodology Knowledge :

- Strong understanding of Scaled Agile and SCRUM methodologies.

5. Soft Skills :

- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in diverse, multi-stakeholder environments.

6. Global and Consulting Experience :

- Experience working in a global delivery model with offshore/onshore teams.

- Desire and capability to work in a consulting environment that may require regular travel.
