Senior Salesforce Developer
Samsara is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with extensive experience in Salesforce solutions, particularly in Sales Cloud, Apex, Trigger, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce applications and solutions that meet the needs of our business and clients. This role is crucial for driving the success of our Salesforce initiatives and enhancing user experience through technology.

Responsibilities

• Salesforce Development
• Design, develop and implement customized Salesforce applications using Apex, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Integrate Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications to streamline business processes.
• Analyze and improve existing Salesforce implementations to enhance performance and capabilities.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders
• Work closely with product managers, project teams, and users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintenance and Support
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Salesforce applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Salesforce applications in a timely manner.
• Documentation
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, deployment procedures, and user guides.
• Document best practices for Salesforce development and share knowledge with team members.
• Testing and Quality Assurance
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and performance of Salesforce solutions before deployment.
• Review and validate the code written by other developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development, preferably with a focus on Sales Cloud.
• Proven proficiency in Apex programming, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Administrator) are highly desirable.
