Role Overview Description

About the Team
PowerTrack, AlsoEnergy’s flagship application that is now on Stem’s Athena platform, is the all-in-one application to meet the needs of commissioning, monitoring, optimizing, and controlling your clean energy portfolio or fleet.
The PowerTrack team is responsible for the development of applications that help visualize the data in the form of charts and graphs thus delivering insights from the raw data. Customers can configure their renewable assets, set up alerts, generate reports and even control their assets from PowerTrack web application. The PowerTrack will be a key component in the development of Asset performance management platform.
What We are Looking For
We are looking for a motivated fullstack software engineer to help with the development and modernization of Asset Performance Management platform in the renewable energy sector. If you have experience developing a cloud-based product and a rock-star hands-on s/w engineer, we are very interested to meet you!

Responsibilities
● Participate and collaborate with scrum team in requirements gathering and analysis
● Collaborate with scrum teams to produce software design and architecture
● Produce clean, scalable, maintainable and testable code in .NET C# and javascript (react) programming languages
● Test and deploy applications and systems
● Revise, update, refactor and debug legacy code
● Work with legacy system with focus on improving the scalability and reliability
● Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Qualifications
● 4-8 year of hands-on experience developing in .NET C# and javascript (react)
● Experience with relational db data modelling and querying. SQL Server and MySQL
● Experience using architecture patterns like Service Pattern, Repository pattern, Unit of work pattern, etc
● Experience designing and developing REST APIs
● Familiarity with containerization frameworks like docker and related hosting services like ECS/Kubernetes
● Familiarity with cloud native development and hosting providers like AWS/Azure
● Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working on Scrum teams
● Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
● Attention to detail
● BSc/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
